The Black Hills Full Moon Group will meet at our home on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 6:30 pm. It is a potluck. The actual Full Moon will occur at 1:58pm Mountain Daylight Time Thursday April 25, 2013. This is the Full Moon of Taurus/Scorpio. It is the Wesak Festival of the Buddha.
This Full moon is a partial Lunar Eclipse as noted by our friend and amazing astrologer Robert Wilkinson:
…..This Partial Lunar Eclipse Wesak Festival in Taurus-Scorpio over time will show us how to deal with opening to new activities taking us away from the known and familiar in social-emotional levels of life, and will definitely be directly related to opportunities and potential futures and higher Truths opened between July 2011 and February 2012.
This one will get us crystal clear about what needs to be done and how it needs to be done. For many, a leaving behind of the “known and familiar” and moving into a greater, more intense social experience. This one will help us see a greater maturity, or old responsibilities eliminated and new ones accepted. Whatever is stripped away will leave a void to be filled with deeper relationships and life experiences over time, so learn to hold the empty space with patience and a sense of attracting what you need “to perfect the great work” between late June and mid-November 2013.
It will bring a greater awareness around recent and current losses, and show us the power of holding the void. Whatever is shut down by this Wesak Lunar Eclipse creates a space for a new power, a new magnetism, a new sense of purpose, a new way of substantiating and confirming a greater duty or set of responsibilities that will be clearly recognizable this Summer and Autumn. So whatever Lunar/Saturn functions are shut down will bring a newer, steady, long range pulse of Saturn activity when it occupies this degree just before it goes stationary direct in early July, and continues to sit next to or on this Eclipse degree through mid-August…..

The Light of Taurus ~ The Penetrating Light of the Path ~ assists us in attaining the Shamballa alignment required to evoke the spiritual energies of the Wesak ritual. Each year the Wesak experience effectively offers the opportunity for all to align more fully with Divine Purpose. By doing so, and in group formation, we may be impressed thusly by the revelation of the evolving Divine Plan for our upcoming service.
It is the immediate and imminent probability of … world reconstruction and [the] coming of the Christ which are held in mind at the annual recurrence of the Wesak Festival, each full moon of Taurus …. [We] can thus set up a current of aspiration and a vortex of force which will have a vital appeal and which will call forth a definite response (in the spiritual significance of the term) from Those Who seek to aid. Electric fire relates to the quality of Will and manifests as Unity of Spirit. As Watchers of the Dawn we are called to Wield this force through the Principle of Decision, by aligning with and directing the incoming flow of energies to reveal the Synthesis of Life Itself. All are valuable in this endeavor.

In regard to the 7 Cosmic Paths ~ the Way to Higher Evolution, this Taurus cycle corresponds to Path VI, “one on which the Masters in training have to work with the devas who are so frequently the mobile agents of the creative process in solar creation.” (3)
The association of the Taurus cycle with Higher Path VI is in part through mutual connection with the Pleiades star cluster and Venus (exoteric ruling planet of Taurus). Our developing understanding of this Path of the Logos may bring awareness of inner cosmic vision and response to cosmic vibration, especially as we consider the relationship between Sanat Kumara, our Solar Logos, Deva evolution and the greater destiny of Humanity.
