Full Moon and Mercury Retrograde August 1, 2012

Mercury went retrograde on July 14, 2012 and will be retrograde through August 7, 2012. During this period we will have the Full Moon of Leo on Wednesday, August 1st. The Black Hills Full Moon Group will meet on that evening, August 1st at 6:30 pm. Judi Joba will host the local group at her home. It is a potluck. Directions are shown at the very bottom of this message.

Robert Wilkinson has multiple articles up about this Mercury retrograde at http://www.aquariuspapers.com. He points out that we are also experiencing a major Cardinal T-Square at this same time with the new moon we just had July 18th. What does it mean, Clay? Well, after reading Robert’s excellent articles let’s look at the Leo-Aquarius axis of the Full Moon period we are entering.

Leo is about personal sovereignty. Aquarius is about group awareness. “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” So how does this Cardinal T-Square factor in? People everywhere are waking up to reclaim their personal sovereignty from the Powers that were. The Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers are holding Council in Lame Deer, Montana July 26-29th. http://www.grandmotherscouncil.org/events

It is indeed a revolution, but a peaceful one based on social and economic justice (Mars in Libra), transforming and retiring the old gerontocracy (Pluto in Capricorn), and new creative thought-forms bursting forth (Uranus in Aries). Notice that “The Powers that be” are now “The Powers that were.” Our spiritual work is shifting up another notch. We are getting more clear about our individual and group service to humanity as our hearts open, and we unplug from the old ways.

It is imperative that all people everywhere on the planet come to understand the wisdom of non-violence. We all need to study again and again Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings of Satyagraha. The god of war (Mars) must be kept in check by Venus, ruler of Libra. I know this is hard, very hard. I know that the people in Syria and elsewhere are not ready to hear it. But bloodshed only begats more bloodshed, as history teaches us. Let us all be open to a higher way, forgiving ourselves first, then forgiving others.

We identify more strongly now with the plan for Mother Earth as she births this new life. The head is now crowning. Can you see it? The Planetary Masters are here to help us. The Great Invocation takes on deeper significance now. Humanity is recognizing that we are all related-Mitakuye Oyasin-All My Relations.

The Goddess herself has recently transformed herself through an alchemical process when she occulted the Sun. She is stronger than ever and only waits for us to invoke her maternal love for all of creation. Our work is based on the writings of the Tibetan Master Djwal Khul as recorded by Alice Bailey. For more information on the writings of Djwal Khul, The Great Invocation, and the Full Moon Festivals see:

It is very important to remember that the Full Moon is a Planetary Event! All over the planet thousands of people will be forming circles of prayer, meditation, and light. So please participate no matter where you are on Mother Earth. If there is no group in your area just invite some friends to get together. Break bread. Laugh. Cry.

Remember the children for seven generations to come. What kind of world do you want to leave for them?
